Cisco Home handcrafts more than just furniture. We pioneer sustainable ecosystems within our community and the many places our furniture designs call home. In order to accomplish this vision, Cisco Home works with skilled Makers who craft furniture pieces by hand.
High Point Market is the largest home furnishing industry trade show in the world. High Point is a city located in the Piedmont Triad region in North Carolina approximately 90 minutes from Charlotte.
Cisco Home has been showing at High Point Market for over 30 years. In 2003, Cisco acquired the Mill, an abandoned cotton mill that opened in 1914 and employed many of the people in the community. He decided to repurpose the Mill as a real, experiential “home” to show Cisco’s latest designs.
Historically, High Point has been known for textile and furniture manufacturing. By the end of the 19th Century, High Point was a leading furniture manufacturing center in the South and has quickly grew to become the High Point Market, held twice a year in the spring and fall seasons. The first formal Southern Furniture Market was held in High Point March 1–15, 1909, to help retailer select which furniture products they wanted to sell.
We are open during the Spring and Fall Markets traditionally held in April and October and we will now be open all year round, by appointment only.
Now we are joining High Point x Design who is reimagining High Point as thriving year-round hub for art and design and allowing designers to visit High Point in the absence of Market.
