We are excited to share a great interview with Jennifer Jones from Niche Interiors, featured on Houzz TV. Jennifer is passionate about sustainability, just like us. She shares the inspiration for the remodel of her 1930s San Francisco home. One of the highlights is our very own Kenso Sofa. (Photographed by Thomas Kuoh)

In this episode of Houzz TV Live, interior designer Jennifer Jones of  Niche Interiors gives a virtual tour of the living and dining rooms in her 1930s San Francisco home. In the living room, upholstered pieces in a nontoxic, stain-resistant coating bring style while remaining durable enough for a family with a dog, a cat, and a 7-year-old child. In the dining room, hand-painted wallpaper in gray and ivory sets a moody backdrop for a locally crafted custom wood dining table.

“Our goal is to design homes with materials that are healthy for both homeowners and the environment. Environmental Protection Agency estimates that most Americans spend approximately 90% of their time indoors, where the concentrations of pollutants are often two to five times higher than typical outdoor concentrations. Since so much of our time is spent indoors, it’s crucial that we pay close attention to the products that we bring into our client’s homes.” Says Jennifer Jones.

And she adds, “We love working with Cisco Home for their healthy, non-toxic upholstery made with natural materials. As one of the first manufacturers to offer flame retardant-free sofas and FSC-certified frames, we’ve been proud to support their business for many years.”
